Tomatoes, Feta and crispy Zaatar Pitas

Ingredients

For the zaatar pitas

  • 2 pitas
  • zaatar
  • olive oil

For the feta cream

  • 300 g Greek yogurt
  • 200 g feta cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • a little water

To finish

  • 7-8 tomatoes
  • kalamata olives
  • thyme

Instructions

Prepare the pitas

  • Preheat oven to 200°C.
  • Cut the pitas in half.
  • Place on a baking sheet and cover with zaatar.
  • Drizzle a generous amount of olive oil over each pita and place in the oven at 15°C.

Prepare the feta cream

  • Mix the yoghurt, crumbled feta and pressed garlic cloves in a bowl. Mix well. Dilute with a little water if necessary.

To finish

  • Spread the feta cream on the plates.
  • Slice the tomatoes and place them on top of the feta, along with the olives, thyme and broken pitas.
